Mach4Lab is an Italian SME that focuses its activities on industrial research, design and consultancy in the field of mechanical engineering addressing four strategic business areas: machinery, materials, mechatronics and micromachining. To achieve competitiveness and savings, companies have to implement continuously up-to-date methodologies. In this framework Mach4Lab provides innovative solutions for advance Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis of products, systems and processes, together with quality management strategies, analysis and process improvements. Applied research on advance composite materials, adaptronic systems and smart materials tailored for machine tools and components, permits Mach4Lab to propose customers the most effective solution through an organised program of prototype design, building, testing and industrial development application. Mach4Lab supports customers with research and design of mechanical devices for high precision machining and micro-positioning, to respond cost-effectively and eco-friendly to market requirements related to complex shape micro parts, embedded systems and miniaturised products. The high qualified engineering staff together with the permanent world-wide collaboration with the most important universities and excellence research centres allows Mach4Lab to achieve very important industrial results and increase its own and customers competitiveness. Mach4Lab is currently involved in European FP7 and H2020 projects.
